Broderick Street Residence
San Francisco, California
This project comprises a forth level vertical addition and substantial remodeling of the lower three levels. Seismic strengthening was accomplished with a structural steel moment-resisting two story frame at the front of the residence and wood framed shear walls at select locations in the remainder of the residence. The Fourth Floor has large windows to take advantage of the view towards the city and large skylights.
